Estimates for Roughing in the Plumbing for the Cabin and Office January 26, 2007

Now that the septic and water lines are completed outside, its time to contact the plumber to rough in the water and waste lines for the cabin and the house. Our goal is to get the cabin ready for rough in inspection as soon as possible. We will also need the electrical wiring roughed before we can get this inspection.

The plumber gave us a rough estimate of about $1500 to rough in the cabin and the office in the house. But he said it would cost less if we paid him time and materials on a project this small. Then we can discuss pricing the plumbing for the rest of the house.

We hope to get enough hooked up to have a functioning bathroom so we can stop paying for the porto pottie. The plumber said he would schedule this for two weeks from now.
